तन्हा दिल तन्हा जिगर ..

दूर है मंज़िल तन्हा है सफर

अन्जानी राहों में खो न जायें कहीं

दूर अंधेरे में मिट न जायें कहीं

हर गुज़रता पल ये एहसास दिलाता है

ज़िंदगी का सफर ये, है नहीं आसान ..

फिर भी मन में एक आस है ..

कुछ कर दिखाएंगे, ये विश्वास है ॥


कितनी अजीब है ये दास्तान ज़िंदगी की ..


आखिर ज़िंदगी ये, चंद लम्हों की बात है ॥

- laments of a lonely heart in anguish ..

... tired of faking emotions a puppet cries!!
_______________________________

how I wish I could voice my opinion

so that people could hear the real me

how I wish I could drop these robes

and dress up the way I really like

how I wish I could fly on my own

and have the real experience of flying

how I wish I could rest my weary feet

and dance to the tune I want to

how I wish I could shut lips that feign

and sing my heart out in bliss

how I wish I could stop pretending

and start to live a real life

will this screaming voice within ever fade ..?

will my spirit be ever set free ...?

When I am not quite sure what to say.. I would go

-> Awwwwwww !!!!! ( caught in awe )
-> speechless ( cluttered mind )
-> *smiles* :) ( patience being tested )
-> strokes of a brush in my hand would paint a canvas like .....
